Jakarta (VNA) - Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi discussed several cooperation programmes in the fields of green energy, economy, and counterterrorism during talks with her Danish counterpart Jeppe Kofod.

During his first visit to Indonesia, Kofod and Retno signed two cooperation agreements, including an Indonesia-Denmark plan of action (PoA) on a sustainable strategic partnership for 2021-2024 and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on infrastructure project financing.

Retno said in a press statement that the Indonesia - Denmark strategic partnership continues to develop based on mutual respect and benefit, believing that the updated PoA will allow the nations to produce more concrete collaboration.

Regarding the economic sector, the two foreign ministers agreed to strengthen cooperation to accelerate economic recovery. Retno said Denmark is Indonesia's second-largest trade, investment and tourism partner in Northern Europe./.
