The President said Indonesia expects the two sides to cooperate in transportation infrastructure, adding that Indonesia always welcomes Chinese investment in the country.
Indonesia is looking to promote cooperation with China in security and law enforcement, according to Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
Meanwhile, Meng Jian Zhu, who is a special envoy of President Xi Jin Ping, conveyed an oral message from President Xi Jin Ping to President Joko Widodo.
Meng stressed that China also hopes to expand cooperation in law enforcement and security, recommending that two countries unite against drug smuggling, cyber-crime, illegal immigration and other illicit transnational activities.
Meng highlighted that two sides need to establish and improve their cooperating mechanism, and promote collaboration between China and ASEAN in security.-VNA
