It is an activity supported by the WB to collect effective ideas tolimit the spread of HIV in the community, contributing to restrictingthe effects of HIV/AIDS on the socio-economic development of thecountry.
The organisation board will providestart-up funds for prize-winning innovative ideas to bring them intopractice and create opportunities for individuals and units to meet andshare experiences in issues of concern.
Theparticipating ideas will focus on five main themes, including models ofbehaviour change communication; efficient community-based interventionfor HIV/AIDS prevention; preventing HIV/AIDS spread from mothers tochildren; care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS; andmobilising resources from communities and HIV-infected people inpreventing the epidemic.
It is expected that 40 prizes will be awarded, each worth about 10,000 USD, said the organisation board.
