A non-refundable aid project aiming to promote sustainable community development through education activities for children and community-based tourism will be implemented in the central province of Thua Thien - Hue during 2019-2022, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
Kwang Han, mayor of Namyangju city, the Republic of Korea, was conferred an honorary citizenship of Hue by the city’s authorities at a ceremony held in the central province of Thua Thien – Hue on April 27.
The central province of Thua Thien-Hue recently issued Decision No.1038/QD-UBND on receiving and implementing the second phase of the carbon and biodiversity (Carbi) project funded by non-refundable aid of the German Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
An exhibition on imperial workshops under the Nguyen Dynasty is underway in the former imperial city of Hue, the central province of Thua Thien-Hue as part of the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019.
Ceremonies were held on late April 29 within the ongoing Hue Traditional Craft Festival to commemorate patrons of all crafts, and honour artisans and craft villages.
Up to 400,000 people visited the eighth Hue Traditional Craft Festival in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue from April 27-May 1, showing a 2.3-fold rise over the previous edition in 2017, according to the organisers.
A festival that runs from April 26 to May 2 in Thua Thien-Hue province has honoured the essence of Vietnam’s craft villages and contributed to preserving and promoting traditional values.
