Around 150 domestic and foreign scientists had an opportunity todeliver their research experiences and practical application ofnanotechnology at an international conference held in the centralprovince of Binh Dinh on August 5.
Attending the event was Prof. Klaus von Klizing, the German physicist awarded the Nobel Prize in 1985.
As part of the 9 th Meet Vietnam programme, the five-day conferencethemed “Nanotechnology from basics to practical application” enablesyoung Vietnamese experts to learn about research and the application ofthe technology in life.
Notably, nanotechnology is being applied to preserve Vietnam’s ancient Cham tower.
Earlier, the programme’s organising board and Quy Nhon Universityworked together to kick off the first astrophysics course.
The course draws the participation of 30 domestic and foreign lecturers and students, and will last until August 9.-VNA
