Vietnamese trade counsellor in India Nguyen Son Ha introduced thecountry’s latest investment attraction policy and fields open toinvestment at a seminar in India on May 11.
At theseminar on bilateral trade and investment opportunities after theASEAN-India Free Trade Agreement (FTA), counsellor Ha, who is also headof the Vietnamese trade office in India , spoke of the advantagesoffered by the ASEAN-India FTA and the tariffs cut itinerary to boosttwo-way trade between the two countries.
The counsellor also called on Indian businesses to actively participate in exhibitions and fairs in Vietnam .
Indian businesses inquired into procedures to set up businesses,representative offices and land lease in Vietnam , corporate incometax and investment preferential treatment. They also asked forinformation about employment and workers’ wage issue and thecountry’s existing import export management policy.-VNA
