Hisamitsu Vietnam Pharmaceutical Co Ltd, a 100 percent subsidiary of theJapanese Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co Inc, opened its new factory inDong Nai province's Bien Hoa Industrial Park No 2 on May 28.
With an investment of 16.84 million USD, the factory is expected toincrease production of Salonpas pain-relief patches to meet risingdemand in the local market and to export to other Asian countries.
With this new factory, total investment of Hisamitsu in itsmanufacturing facilities in Vietnam is nearly 25.5 million USD, upfrom 5 million USD when the company first entered the country in 1995.-VNA
