Sapporo Vietnam Co has put into operation a beer factory at the VietHoa-Duc Hoa 3 Industrial Park in the Mekong Delta province of Long An.
SapporoVietnam Co Ltd is a join venture between the Vietnam National TobaccoCorporation (Vinataba) and Sapporo Holdings Ltd of Japan.
Coveringan area of 6.5ha, the factory was built for a total investment of 75million USD and is capable of producing 40 million litres per year inthe first phase and its output is expected to increase to 100 millionlitres and 150 million litres per year in the next two phases./.
