Khanh Hoa province maps out development path by 2030

The resolution adopted at the congress established the goal of ushering Khanh Hoa into a decade of accelerated development, becoming an international marine tourism and service hub and a national and regional data centre, with two-digit economic growth.

Khanh Hoa (VNA) – The first Congress of the Party Organisation of the central province of Khanh Hoa for the 2025-2030 tenure successfully wrapped up on September 23, setting a vision to transform the locality into a major growth pole of the country and a centrally-run city by 2030.

The resolution adopted at the congress established the goal of ushering Khanh Hoa into a decade of accelerated development, becoming an international marine tourism and service hub and a national and regional data centre, with two-digit economic growth.

The vision encompasses developing a modern, smart, and sustainable urban system with world-class international standards, backed by a harmonious, modern, and effective infrastructure system. Local residents will enjoy high living standards while the ecosystem, natural landscapes, and environment will be protected with better climate change adaptation capabilities.

Additionally, the resolution underscores building a comprehensive and strong Party organisation and political system as well as ensuring solid defence, security, and maritime sovereignty.

The provincial Party Organisation outlined 21 specific development criteria, including nine for economy, six for culture and society, three for environmental protection, and three for Party building. To achieve these, the congress identified six key solutions, six priority tasks, and three breakthrough measures for the 2025–2030 period.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh stressed that the local Party Organisation, administration and people are determined to fulfill all the set targets and missions, calling it a foundation and motive for the province to enter a new chapter of development.

He urged the Party committees, administrations at all levels, and political organisations to join efforts to translate the resolution into practice with drastic and substantive action programmes and breakthrough solutions, ensuring improvements in local people's material and spiritual lives./.
