Maritime tourists visit southern provinces

This is thefirst time the cruise ships have arrived in Vietnam for sightseeingtours at popular sites in the southern provinces.

After docking at Saigon Port , the UK holidaymakers will visit somefamous sites such as Duc Ba church, Cho Lon market, Cu Chi tunnels andMy Tho city of Tien Giang province.

Apart fromvisiting the same sites, visitors from the Amadea will tour Vinh Trangpagoda in My Tho city; enjoy water puppets and traditional musicperformances and shop in Ben Thanh market in Ho Chi Minh City .

They will also have a chance to go sightseeing andenjoy fruit in Lai Thieu, a region famous for orchards in Binh Duongprovince, only 20 km from HCM City .

Saigontourist expects to receive the Portuguese cruise liner, PrincessDaphne to Vietnam on the sea route of Ha Long-Da Nang-NhaTrang-Saigon in April this year.-VNA

Search volume for Vietnam’s tourism ranks 7th globally

The top 10 most searched Vietnamese destinations were Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Vung Tau, Da Lat, Phan Thiet, and Hue. Notably, Vung Tau and Ninh Binh recorded the highest growth in search volume with over 75%.
