Mid-Autumn Festival in Hanoi’s Old Quarter

A series of activities, including exhibitions, decorations, and folk games will be held in the Hanoi Old Quarter to observe the 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival.

The program, jointly hosted by the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter and the National Archives Centre aims to promote Vietnam’s traditional cultural value while creating an interesting space for children during the festival period.

The activities are organized in several signature places of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, reviving the old-fashioned Mid-Autumn Festival, attracting local and foreign tourists.

Bhasakar Dey, an Indian Tourist to Hanoi is very impressed by the vibes of the festival as well as the ancient architectural style of the Hanoi Old Quarter. He found the festival offerings similar to the Fall Harvest Festival in India.

The program runs between September 22-29th.
