Thuy cited statistics from the General Departmentof Vietnam Customs showing that two-way trade between Vietnam and Hong Kongrose 18 percent year on year to 13.6 billion USD in 2021, with Vietnam'sexports valued at 12 billion USD, up 15 percent.
