NA Chairman meets with Japanese Prime Minister

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung made the remarks at histalks with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda on December 7 duringhis ongoing official visit to Japan .

Hungexpressed his pleasure at the strong and comprehensive developments intheir bilateral ties over the past time, and appreciated Japan ’scontinuous ODA for infrastructure projects, human resources training andenvironmental protection in Vietnam , stating that the countryattaches importance to the effective use and monitoring of ODA.

The leader proposed that the two sides maintain and intensify visitsand contacts between high-ranking leaders, adding he hoped that the PMwill continue facilitating and accelerating Japanese enterprises’investment in Vietnam .

The Vietnamese NA andGovernment will create favourable environment and conditions forJapanese investment to become effective, Hung added.

Noda affirmed cooperation with Vietnam is a priority in Japan ’spolicies. The two sides need to widen cooperation in all fields in aneffort to further deepen the efficiency of the strategic partnershipbetween the two countries, he added.

He also pledged to continue providing ODA for Vietnam ’s socio-economic development./.VNA
