The National Assembly’s Judicial Committee gathered in Hanoi on July 7 to prepare for the upcoming 39th session of the NA Standing Committee.
The meeting considered the Supreme People’s Procuracy’s report on allowance policies for leadership and management positions as well as salaries and uniforms for officials, adding staff to the sector and setting up new People’s Procuracy bodies at district levels.
The committee proposed maintaining allowance policies for lead posts in accordance with Resolution 370 while keeping the number of procurators and investigators at the Supreme People’s Procuracy and assigning the Chief Procurator to decide the quantity of procurators, investigators and staff at other high-level People’s Procuracies.
The majority of the committee members agreed on the Supreme People’s Procuracy report to establish five courts at the district level, namely in H’Drai district in Kon Tum province, Phu Rieng district in Binh Phuoc, Duyen Hai town in Tra Vinh, Ky Anh town in Ha Tinh and Long My district in Hau Giang.-VNA
