Duringthe three-day sitting, which comes freshly after the nine-day-long Tetholidays, the legislators will devote a lot of time tackling differingviews on the law on the election of deputies to the National Assemblyand the People’s Council; the law on natural resources, maritimeenvironment and islands; and the revised law on state budget, amongothers.
They will also look into a plan to allocate Government bond-sourced standby capital in the 2011-2015 period.
Atits 34th session, the Standing Committee spent time examiningpreparations for the upcoming 132nd General Assembly of theInter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-132), which is scheduled for March inHanoi.
IPU-132 is expected to greet delegates from more than 160 countries around the world.-VNA
