The border gates are
Thong Thu in Que Phong district, which borders Laos’ Hua Phan
province and Cao Veu in Anh Son district, bordering Bolykhamxay
province.
The opening of the two border gates also helps
facilitate the development of joint projects in infrastructure and

and Laos.
Nghe An province has effectively cooperated with Laos’ border provinces over the last years.
The province also plans to receive students from Laos’ Hua Phan and Bolykhamxay provinces for vocational training./.
