Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi is willing to support the organisation ofactivities celebrating the 60-year anniversary of Vietnam-Cuba diplomatic tiesin December, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Duc Chung toldCuban Ambassador to Vietnam Lianys Torres Rivera on February 13.
Chung mentioned several specific activitiessuch as Cuban Cultural Days at King Ly Thai To Statue Square near Hoan KiemLake and the construction of a mosaic picture on Yen Phu ceramic street as aproposal of the Cuban ambassador.
He also suggested holding a photoexhibition on the two countries’ relations to make their young generationsunderstand more about the ties.
The Cuban diplomat said that the mosaicpainting will be inaugurated by the end of this year in the presence of seniorofficials from Cuba and Hanoi.
