Well-known Canadian pianist and composer Alain Lefevre will perform in Vietnam as part of the activities celebrating the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Canada diplomatic relations.

Music lovers will have a chance to enjoy Lefevre’s talent at the Ho Chi Minh City Municipal Theatre on May 13 and at the Hanoi Opera House on May 15.

Honoured as a ‘spectacular pianist’ with ‘Quebec’s ten most agile fingers’, Lefevre has performed in more than 30 countries with leading international orchestras and conductors. He was awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre de la Pleiade for his outstanding contributions to the artistic community in 2007.

Lefevre also spends his time composing as well as hosting a classical music radio show every Sunday for Radio-Canada's Espace Musique.-VNA
