Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Pham MinhChinh has asked Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien to keep a closewatch on the information about oil and gas prices and Malaysia’s ability tosupply the fuel to Vietnam.
The Government Office on June 11 sent Document No. 3649/VPCP-KTTHto the Ministry of Industry and Trade, conveying the PM’s instructions.
According to the document, the ministry made areport clarifying the above-said information on June 3.
PM Chinh asked its minister to closely coordinatewith relevant agencies to consider and handle issues in line with regulations./.
National Assembly (NA) deputies are scheduled to debate the revision of the Petroleum Law on June 3, which aims to strengthen the effectiveness and enforcement of the law in State management, remove obstacles, create a more favourable legal corridor for investors, thus contributing to enhancing the attractiveness of the investment environment in the field of oil and gas.
The revision of the Petroleum Law is crucial to creating a smooth legal corridor for investors and increasing the attractiveness of the investment environment in the field of oil and gas, said Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien while delivering a proposal on the draft amended Petroleum Law at the 15th National Assembly’s ongoing third session on June 3.
The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) pumped 4.55 million tonnes of crude oil in the first five months of 2022, surpassing the plan by 22 percent, contributing to ensuring national energy security and national development.
