Sang, who is also standing member of the Secretariat of theCommunist Party of Vietnam’s Central Committee spoke highly ofpractical contributions by the ambassador to boosting the Vietnam-Japanfriendship and cooperative relations through his charitable activitiesand others aimed at bolstering cultural exchange, cooperation on healthcare and investment promotion.
He expressed his wish that Ryotaro, who doubles as Vietnam-JapanSpecial Ambassador, would continue his support in implementing thestrategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia .
For his part, Ryotaro recounted his activities during his stay inVietnam , including the signing of an agreement between a hospital underthe Japanese Okayama University and the Hanoi Cardiac Centreand his attendance at the opening ceremony of a handicraft exhibition.
He also visited several centres for disabled and disadvantagedchildren and made commitments to continue his support for thedevelopment of the two countries’ relations and promote mutualunderstanding and trust between the two peoples./.
