– A cultural exchangeprogramme was held in the south-eastern province of Binh Phuoc on June 23 tostrengthen solidarity and friendship between Vietnamese, Cambodian and Laostudents.

More than 60 students participated in the event,including 24 from Laos and seven from Cambodia, who are studying atuniversities in southern Ho Chi Minh City.

The programme created a good chance for studentsto learn about the traditional culture of each country as well as thetrilateral sound relations, solidarity and friendship.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’sCommittee Huynh Thi Hang called on the youngsters to preserve and promote thelong-standing friendship between Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

She said the three countries have launched anumber of programmes to increase youth exchanges between cities and provinces,particularly those along the shared border.

At the programme, the Vietnam-Cambodia FriendshipAssociation in HCM City presented 15 gift packages to disadvantaged students inBinh Phuoc.-VNA
