Prime Minister greets Cambodian King

Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni met PM Nguyen Tan Dung in Hanoi on Feb. 14.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoniexpressed their delight to the good terms between the two neighbouringcountries, as the two met in Hanoi on Feb. 14.

The Cambodian monarch stopped in the city on his way home from an overseas tour.

Healso expressed Vietnam's gratitude to the Cambodian royal family andpeople for supporting Vietnam in its fight for national independence inthe past and in its current process of national construction.

Healso congratulated Cambodia on its own huge achievements and said hehopes better outcomes will be reached. Both sides noted 2012 is a yearof friendship during which Vietnam and Cambodia will celebrate 45 yearsof diplomatic relations, and vowed to do their utmost to consolidate thepositive relationship./.
