Quang Ninh receives 140 Japanese cherry trees

Quang Ninh province held a ceremony for the presentation and planting of 140 cherry trees from Japanese experts of Koushikai Association and International Culture Association on December 16.

The trees will be grown at Bai Chay tourist area in Ha Long city and Yen Tu zone of Uong Bi city.

According to the Chairwoman of Koushikai Association, Kawakami Hirokothe gift of cherry trees aims to tighten cooperative relationsbetween Japan and Vietnam , in particular Quang Ninh province.

The event is even more meaningful as it occurs on the occasion of theupcoming 40 th anniversary of Vietnam–Japan diplomatic ties in 2013,proving cooperative and friendly relation between two countries.

With the gift, Japan also thanked Vietnamese people for their help following the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.-VNA

Assignment of settlement authority of district-level administrative procedures must be completed before June 10

They are asked to issue legal documents within their jurisdiction to implement cuts and reassign the authority of settlement at the district level. For procedures requiring government decrees, ministries must submit them to the Ministry of Justice for review by May 10, and to the Government for approval by May 30. Progress on the work must be reported to the PM by May 10.
