Reference exchange rate down 2 VND on July 23

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange at 25,177 VND/USD on July 23, down 2 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange at 25,177 VND/USD on July 23, down 2 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,436 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,918 VND/USD.

At 8:25 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw decreases.

Both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,960 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,320 VND/USD, down 20 VND from the July 22 morning session./.
