Reference exchange rate down 3 VND
The State Bank of Vietnam announced the daily reference exchange rate for August 2 at 22,666 VND/USD, down 3 VND against the previous day.

With the current trading band of /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,345 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,987 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.
The rates listed at Vietcombank remained unchanged compared to August 1 at 23,245 VND/USD (buying) and 23,325 VND/USD (selling).
BIDV added 10 VND to both rates, buying the greenback at 23,250 VND per USD and selling at 23,330 VND per USD.
Meanwhile, Techcombank listed the buying rate at 23,225 VND/USD, down 5 VND, and selling rate at 23,335 VND/USD, up 5 VND.-VNA
