Reference exchange rate down 32 VND

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the dailyreference exchange rate for the US dollar at 23,057 VND/USD on May 31, down 32VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceilingrate applicable to commercial banks during the day is 23,748 VND/USD andthe floor rate is 22,365 VND/USD.

The opening-hour rates at commercial banks remained stable.

At 8:27 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,020VND/USD, and the selling rate at 23,330 VND/USD, both unchanged from the ratesat the end of May 30.

BIDV also kept both rates unchanged, listing at 23,040VND/USD (buying) and 23,320 VND/USD (selling)./.
