Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,898 VND/USD on April 18, up 5 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,143 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,653 VND/USD.
At 8:15 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks went up slightly.
Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,700 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,060 VND/USD, both up 40 VND from April 17.
BIDV also posted the same rates, up 30 VND from the previous day./.
