Reference exchange rate up 12 VND on April 28

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,960 VND/USD on April 28, up 12 VND from April 25.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,960 VND/USD on April 28, up 12 VND from April 25.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,208 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,713 VND/USD.

At 8:30 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw slight increases.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,840 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,200 VND/USD, both up 5 VND from April 25.

BIDV raised both rates by 10 VND, posting the buying rate at 25,840 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,200 VND/USD./.
