Reference exchange rate falls 3 VND on March 28

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,843 VND/USD on March 28, down 3 VND from the previous day’s morning.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,843 VND/USD on March 28, down 3 VND from the previous day’s morning.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,085 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,601 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates slightly increased.

At 8:30 am, Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,400 VND/USD and the selling rate 25,760 VND/USD, both up 10 VND from March 27 morning./.
