Reference exchange rate down 6 VND at week’s beginning

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,837 VND/USD on March 31, down 6 VND from the last work day of the previous week.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,837 VND/USD on March 31, down 6 VND from the last work day of the previous week.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,079 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,595 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates remained stable.

At 8:30 am, Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,400 VND/USD and the selling rate 25,760 VND/USD, both unchanged from the March 28 morning session./.
