Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam kept the daily referenceexchange rate for July 3 unchanged from the previous day at 22,635 VND/USD.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate appliedto commercial banks during the day is 23,314 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,956VND/USD.

However, the rates listed at commercial banks surged strongly.

The rates listed at Vietcombank were 23,005 VND/USD (buying) and 23,075VND/USD (selling), both up 85 VND.

The rates at BIDV rose 65 VND to 22,990 VND/USD (buying) and 23,060VND/USD (selling).

Techcombank added 35 VND to its listed buying rate, bringing it to 22,935VND/USD and 40 VND to the selling rate, bringing it to 23,040 VND/USD.-VNA
