A Republic of Korea-Vietnam business forum was held in Seoul onApril 19 to provide information on Vietnam’s orientations anddevelopment demands to RoK businesses.
Addressing the event,Deputy Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) LeeDong-geun expressed his hope that the forum will create a chance forbusinesses to meet and seek partners and enhance mutual understanding,thus contributing to upgrading the Vietnam – RoK strategicpartnership to new level.
Vietnamese Ambassadors to theRoK Tran Trong Toan highlighted Vietnam’s recent achievements,particularly high economic growth rate and poverty reduction.
He said that the forum is a good opportunity for the RoK’s enterprisesto update Vietnam ’s orientations and development demands until 2020as well as discuss directly with Vietnamese partners.
Alsoat the forum, participants were heard reports on bilateral cooperationin trade, investment and industry, and Vietnam’s FDI attractionpolicies.-VNA
