Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has cabled a message of congratulations to his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on April 30.

Russian Prime Minister MikhailMishustin has cabled a message of congratulations to his Vietnamese counterpartNguyen Xuan Phuc on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the liberationof the South and National Reunification Day on April 30.

The Russian leader said the glorious victory was the outcome of thepersistent and heroic struggle of the Vietnamese people for independence andfreedom.

Russia is proud of having stood side-by-side with its Vietnamese friendsduring those hard times, he wrote.
