Singapore (VNA) - The Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA) said on June 11 that a local company named Vision Empire International is being investigated for manufacturing surgical masks without a licence.
HAS has seized 33 boxes, each contains 2,500 masks, which were said to be produced in unhygienic conditions.
Vision Empire International is also suspected to have imported surgical masks from overseas before repackaging, rebranding and reselling them without having a licence to do so. The masks are rebranded with the Vision Empire International trademark.
HSA has issued a warning for local consumers not to purchase the brand’s masks on e-commerce platforms. Vision Empire International has been directed to recall the products./.
