State President to attend UN’s MDG Summit

State President Nguyen Minh Triet will attend the UN High-level Plenary Meeting on the Millennium Development Goals (MDG Summit) to be convened in New York from Sept. 20-22.

State President Nguyen Minh Triet will attend the United Nations High-level Plenary Meeting on the Millennium Development Goals (MDG Summit) to be convened in the UN Headquarters in New York from September 20-22.

Also, President Triet and US President Barack Obama will co-host the second ASEAN-US Summit in New York on September 24 at the invitation of the latter, the Foreign Ministry announced in a press release on Sept. 14./.
