Kim Bao Son Vietnam, asubsidiary of the Taiwanese group Kinh Crystal InternationalIncorporated, broke ground for its second factory producing medicalgloves in the southern province of Dong Nai on December 2.
The facility, which covers 12 ha of land in Giang Dien Industrial Zonein Trang Bom district, has a total investment of 14 million USD.
Once fully operational in late 2015, it will be capable ofmanufacturing 7,500 tonnes of products per year for both the domesticand regional markets.
Entering the country in 2004, theTaiwanese group set up its first factory worth 12 million USD also inDong Nai province.
So far, Taiwan is the largest foreigninvestor in Dong Nai with 285 projects still valid with a totalregistered capital of 4.8 billion USD.-VNA
