The carrier last week also resumed its cross-regional services between Thainorthern city of Chiang Rai with Phuket, famous beach destination and southerncity of Hat Yai to further facilitate air travel recovery post pandemic.
The 10millionth passenger onboard Thai Vietjet’s flight from Bangkok (SuvarnabhumiAirport) to Chiang Rai International Airport on November 8 was welcomed withsurprises and awarded a complimentary one-year air ticket by Tourism Authority ofThailand’s representative, Thapanee Kiatphaibool. Other passengers also enjoyeda special lucky draw for a complimentary round-trip air ticket.

Recently, ThaiVietjet has also reconnected major destinations between Thailand’s Northern andSouthern regions, including Phuket – Chiang Rai and Hat Yai – Chiang Rairoutes. The two cross-regional services operate 3 flights a week on everyWednesday, Friday, Sunday, starting November 3, with the flight time is around2 hours and 15 minutes per leg.
Since its firsttakeoff in September 2016, Thai Vietjet has constantly expanded its flight networkacross Thailand and currently operates 14 domestic routes from Bangkok(Suvarnabhumi) to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Udon Thani, Hat Yai,Khon Kaen, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Ubon Ratchathani, and Surat Thani;cross-regional flights from Phuket to Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, and Udon Thani;and direct flights from Hat Yai to Chiang Rai. It will also launch new internationalservices connecting Bangkok with Singapore and Taipei, and Phuket withSingapore later this year.
