In its Marketing Action Plan for2014, TAT said it has set a target of 28.01 million internationaltourist arrivals in the year, with an estimated foreign exchange revenueof 1.326 trillion THB (43 billion USD), up 13 percent over 2013.
For the domestic market, the goal was set at 136.8 million trips,generating estimated 700 billion THB (22 billion USD), up 9 percent fromthis year.
Thailand’s marketing strategies in thefuture will focus on raising awareness of Thailand as a “QualityDestination” with a broad diversity of experiences, and balancing thesource markets.-VNA
