The Law on Insurance Business (amended) was among the documents debated at the third working day of the 15th National Assembly’s second session on October 22.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Law on InsuranceBusiness (amended) was among the documents debated at the third working day ofthe 15th National Assembly’s second session on October 22.

Other documents include a report assessing the draftLaw on Insurance Business (amended), a proposal on draft resolutions on anumber of specific mechanisms and policies for development in Hai Phong city andNghe An, Thanh Hoa and Thua Thien-Hue provinces, along with a report assessing thedraft resolutions. The lawmakers then discussed in groups these draftresolutions.

In the afternoon, the deputies mulled over the implementationof social insurance policies, and the management and use of the social insurancefund in 2020.

They are scheduled to look into the Law onCinematography and the Law on Emulation and Reward (amended) on October 23morning.

On October 23 afternoon, they will debate crime combatand law violations in 2021, along with a number of reports./.

452 lawmakers, or 94.56% of the total number of deputies present, voted in favour the revised Law on Corporate Income Tax, while the amended Excise Tax Law was adopted with 448 out of 454 deputies present voting in favour, accounting for 93.72% of the total.
