Hanoi (VNA) – Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, together with his spouse and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, will attend the 46th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-46) and pay an official visit to Malaysia.
The trip will take place from September 16 to 20, according to a statement from the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs./.
Vietnam is always an active and responsible member of AIPA, emphasised NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
Participating parliamentarians are set to exchange experiences, share initiatives, and build a strong network of cooperation, thereby making practical contributions to a stronger, more innovative, and prosperous ASEAN.
Malaysia’s presidency of ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) next year will prioritise enhancing ASEAN connectivity by expanding both physical and digital infrastructure to boost trade, investment and people movement, said Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul.
