Vietinbank (CTG) has successfully raised 250 million USD worth ofinternational bonds on a five-year term, with a yield of 8 percent.
The bonds were issued in the European, Asian and the US markets.
Vietinbank plans to issue 2 billion USD worth of bonds, and inFebruary, the Government agreed to allow the bank to issue internationalbonds.
The bank's outstanding foreign currency loans asof last year reached nearly 54.14 trillion VND, accounting for 18.5percent of the total outstanding loans; while customer deposits inforeign currency hit 34.17 trillion VND, 13.3 percent of the total.-VNA
