VietJetAir unveils two new Airbus planes

VietJetAir early this week added two new Airbus A320-200 aircraft to it fleet to meet the growing demand in the peak season.

VietJetAir early this week added two new Airbus A320-200 aircraft to itfleet to meet the growing demand in the peak season.

The two new aircraft will help VietJetAir schedule 1,600 flights overthe summer. The airline plans to expand its domestic network and addmore international routes later this year.

Thecarrier has also inked a deal with Airbus to utilise the company’s“Sharklet” technology - a special wingtip device that allows the newAirbus A320 to fly faster and save on fuel costs.-VNA
