Vietnam Airlines records strong growth in RoK market

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has seen its impressive growth in both scale of operation and sales revenue in the Republic of Korea (RoK) market.

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has seen its impressivegrowth in both scale of operation and sales revenue in the Republicof Korea (RoK) market.

The carrier’s branch in the RoKrecorded a fourteen percent increase in business in 2013 as comparedwith last year, three percent higher than this year’s target, accordingto Cao Anh Son - Head of Vietnam Airlines Representative Office inSeoul .

The launch of Incheon - Danang directflights in early July has raised the total number of weekly flightsbetween the two countries from 35 to 47.

It aims tocreate favorable condition for passengers of the two countries,representing Vietnam Airlines’ prestige and position among otherinternational airlines.

Currently, the carrier has five direct air routes linking Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City with Incheon and Busan.-VNA
