Ambassador Giang reaffirmed Vietnam’s consistent position on settling international disputes through peaceful measures, in full compliance with international law and the UN Charter, especially core principles of respecting independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of states, and refraining from the use or threat of force.

He noted Vietnam's strong support for the UN’s role in upholding international peace and security. The diplomat also praised constructive initiatives aimed at fostering dialogue to bring an end to the conflict, based on international law and the UN Charter, and with full regard for the legitimate interests of all parties involved.
