Vietnam-Germany diplomatic ties marked in HCM City

A friendship festival was organised in Ho Chi Minh City on October 3 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Vietnam-Germany diplomatic relations (Sept. 23) and the 17th anniversary of the HCM City Vietnam-Germany Friendship Association.

Germancitizens living and working in HCM City along with a large number ofVietnamese people who used to live in Germany attended the eventand engaged in a discussion on the economic and trade relations betweenthe two nations.

Participants also enjoyed German special dishes and traditional art performances staged by the two countries’ artists./.
