By the end of 2014, Vietnam has had 930 investment projects underwayin foreign countries with a total registered capital of 19.78 billionUSD, according to the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry ofPlanning and Investment (MPI).
During 2014 alone,the MPI licensed 109 Vietnamese-invested projects in 28 countriesand territories with a total registered capital of 1.047 billion USD.
Of the 109 projects, Vietnamese enterprises haveinvested in 23 projects in Cambodia, accounting for 21 percent of thetotal projects.
Other major Vietnamese investment destinations include Myanmar, Laos, the US and Singapore.-VNA
