1973 - 2025), Vietnam - Japan ties are currently at their best stage of development. Especially in 2023, when the relationship was elevated to a "Comprehensive strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia and the world," the two countries continue making substantive and comprehensive progress across all areas, with political trust further strengthened and economic cooperation remaining a key pillar.
