A meeting between staff fromthe Vietnamese, Lao and Cambodian embassies in Japan was held in Tokyoon December 22 to increase mutual understanding and promote friendshipand cooperation.
Vietnamese Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung highlightedthe special friendship that exists among Vietnam, Laos andCambodia . The three countries’ embassies regularly hold exchanges toincrease mutual understanding among embassy staff, promoting cooperationin external affairs in each locality, Hung said.
Lao Ambassador Kenthoong Nuathasing said he hopes the exchanges will bemaintained to increase solidarity and friendship among staff at theembassies.
Minister-Counsellor of the Cambodian Embassy IemPuthviro spoke of his pleasure in attending the meeting, and believedthe event will enhance the three embassies’ traditional friendship.
At the exchange, participants enjoyed an art performance and took partin sporting competitions. They also introduced traditional dishes fromtheir home countries./.VNA
