Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnamese team ranked seventh in the medal tally at the Wushu World Cup 2024’s taolu (performance) category, which concluded in Japan on October 27.
The Vietnamese athletes brought home one silver medal and one bronze medal, tied for 7th place with Brunei and Singapore.
This is the third time the International Wushu Federation has held the World Cup for taolu (performance) events. China ranked first with four gold medals, followed by the host Japan with two golds, three silvers, and one bronze. The third place went to Chinese Taipei, with two gold medals.
The Vietnamese team will continue to participate in the 2024 Wushu World Cup’s sanda (combat) cartegory, which is scheduled to take place in Australia in November 2024./.
