Speaking at the event, Cuong said that he is impressed by the glorious history of the office during the past 75 years of construction, especially since the office was officially re-established over 30 years ago.

He said the office has been contributing to the enhancement of coordination between central and local agencies. It has also improved its performance and effectively supported the State President and Vice President in internal and external activities in accordance with the Constitution, laws and tasks assigned by the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Party Central Committee.

After listening to a report about the office’s current situation and working plans for the coming time, Cuong said that to complete his assigned tasks, in addition to his own efforts and support from the leaders of the Party, the State, central agencies, ministries and localities, he also hopes to receive support from the Presidential Office staff.

With the office’s tradition and the directions by Party General Secretary To Lam, Cuong said he believes the staff will stay united, wholeheartedly and efficiently work, and build a strong Party organisation, worthy of being a strategic research and advisory agency serving the State President and Vice President./.
